Customized font class

I planned to have a cool deisgn font in that chat room. So I focused on the color and shadow elements of the text.

During the class, I wanted to have a stroke effect but I couldn't find proper codes after searching. But I came across this website, which is called Glitch Effect. It has many awesome font effects, and you can directly check and edit the codes. I just simply learned the shadow effect and implemented it in my own class.

Affordance of the chat

I think the affordances of the chat is to

1. Afford people to talk bravely because guests can decide who they are before entering the chat room with no need to dispay their real name
2. Afford people to feel the emotion of the words from their display because everyone can customize the looks of different text
3. Afford people a space to communicate remotely and share ideas because it is accessible to everyone in GSAPP

So far, this chat room is a basic plain online web that only allows people to chat in words. If there are more functions and services installed in this chat room, it can have more affordances since better environment provides users with more affects. Therefore, if this chat room can be used in mobile phone or is allowed to send pictures, it will attract more people to use it and chat more often due to its convenience and functional diveristy.
